Tools used for this project.

The main goal of this project was to design and set up digital signage for the TV screens across Durham College campus. The work was done gradually throughout the semester, with weekly progress made on different parts of the project.
The final digital sign includes six sections: a logo panel, a weather panel, a motion graphics area, a YouTube display, a news column, and a ticker tape.
The aim was to create a sign similar to those seen on news channels like CP24—informative, yet easy to read at a glance. To achieve this, we used Durham College's brand colours to clearly separate each section and keep the layout clean and simple.
We also built the backend of the system, which allows users to add, remove, or update the content on the sign. The first five weeks were spent developing this backend using wireframes, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. After that, we moved on to applying our design to the front end.

Weather Icons designed for this project.

In addition to designing weather icons, we were tasked with creating a motion graphic videos for a brand to be featured, being a fan of Subway, that was my chosen brand.
