Tools used for this project
The goal of this project was to create an interactive infographic on a topic of choice. I chose the octopus—my favourite sea creature—to highlight its unique and fascinating nature.
I began by researching content for the infographic, then moved on to design using Adobe Illustrator, where I created all illustrations and assets. To emphasize the octopus’s striking appearance, I used a dark blue background and a vivid red octopus, focusing on a single species in various environments rather than multiple species.
Some assets were exported to Adobe Photoshop to create GIF animations. Once the design was finalized, I used Visual Studio Code to build the infographic with HTML and CSS, creating slide structures and styling the layout. Finally, I used JavaScript and GSAP to animate and add interactivity, bringing the infographic to life.
