In 2024, your Toronto Zoo proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary—a major milestone in its history. To mark the occasion, we partnered with an external design firm to create a fresh, commemorative logo that reflected the Zoo’s legacy and future. As part of the celebration, a variety of special signage was developed and installed throughout the Zoo to engage visitors and highlight this important year.
As a member of the graphics team, I played a leading role in shaping the visual direction for the 50th anniversary on-site signage. This included interpretive signs highlighting key milestones in the Zoo’s history, stories of animals that have called the Toronto Zoo home for 50 years, and promotional elements added to existing signage throughout the site.
